We offer a comprehensive suite of cardiac services, all performed in our office.

Cardiac Device Clinic

Cardiac Device Clinic

Our "pacer clinic" is the longest running device clinic in Long Beach and is expertly managed by Elizabeth. We perform post-procedure wound checks and also monitor, in-person or remotely, pacemakers, defibrillators and loop recorders.

Echocardiography

Echocardiography

Our sonographer Silvana uses an ultrasound probe to store images of the cardiac chambers, heart valves and major blood vessels. These images are collectively called an Echocardiogram or "Echo", and is the most common study performed in the office. Silvana also can capture images of the major blood vessels in the neck called a Carotid study.

Electrophysiology

Electrophysiology

Electrophysiology (EP) is the study of the heart's electrical components. One major category is Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) which includes the implant of pacemakers and defibrillators. Our program is unique in that our physicians can also remove these devices via Lead Extraction if necessary. The other main EP category is ablations for management of atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, SVT and ventricular tachycardia. Our physicians also perform the Watchman device for stroke prevention.

Interventional Cardiology
Stress Testing

Interventional Cardiology

An interventional cardiologist can capture images of the heart's blood vessels in a minimally invasive manner using flexible tubes called catheters. Stents can be delivered through these catheters to repair weakened vessels and narrowed arteries to alleviate symptoms such as chest tightness and shortness of breath.

Stress Testing

Stress tests measure the heart's ability to respond to external stress in a controlled environment. The stress response can be induced by exercise or via intravenous medications. We tailor stress tests to patients' physical and medical need using treadmill, echocardiogram and/or nuclear studies. Our cardiologists will find the right study for you.
